: Description
This project aimed at the development of optimized production methods for fiber Bragg grating based sensors tailored for the structural health monitoring market. The main goal was the conception of a semi automatic manufacturing workstation and the establishment of the corresponding sensor manufacturing procedures, which enable the production of such devices in a simple, reliable and efficient way. In addition, a systematic process of calibration and statistical analysis of the performance of fiber Bragg Grating based temperature sensors has been implemented.
