: Description
This project aims the research and development of advanced automotive smart flooring based in photonics technologies. Foreseen applications are LED based optical fiber delivery of light to the vehicle interior and structural health monitoring for insurance audits, as examples. It addresses all the stages of the production chain, namely integration in the textiles production processes and cost optimization.
